We're currently seeking an experienced HVAC Manager to lead our Residential Home Services division and oversee daily operations, technician performance, and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary

As the HVAC Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of union HVAC technicians and apprentices. You'll lead day-to-day field operations, support a performance-based sales model, and ensure code-compliant, high-quality residential service. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support union HVAC technicians and apprentices
  • Schedule daily residential service calls and manage job workflow
  • Drive performance using a selling-tech model; support technicians in achieving sales and profitability goals
  • Perform quality control checks, manage customer escalations, and ensure service satisfaction
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and safety training
  • Ensure code compliance and company safety policies are followed
  • Quote HVAC work and assist in estimating and closing jobs
  • Manage departmental inventory, equipment, and budget tracking

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of HVAC experience (residential focus required)
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Experience with union environments is a plus
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with scheduling software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Previous experience operating a cargo van, box truck, or oversized vehicle is preferred

Schedule

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • Flexible start/end times based on scheduling needs
  • Occasional field visits and emergency coordination as required
