Positions at Roman Electric

1. Office Positions:

Administrative and Office Assistants:

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Provide support to management and field staff.
  • Requirements: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, excellent communication skills.

Customer Service Representatives and Receptionists:

  • Manage customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide service information.
  • Maintain customer records and handle billing processes.
  • Requirements: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, experience in customer service preferred.

Human Resources:

  • Manages HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management to support organizational goals.
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 5+ years of HR experience, and strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
2. Field Positions:
Commercial Electrical Positions (Entry-Level, Journeyman, Master Electricians and Foremen):

Entry-Level Electrician Position: 

  • Assists with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial properties under supervision.
  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid electrical apprentice license, and eagerness to learn.

Journeyman/Master Electrician Position: 

  • Independently installs, repairs, and maintains complex electrical systems in commercial properties.
  • Requirements: Valid journeyman or master electrician license, several years of commercial electrical experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Foreman Position

  • Supervises and coordinates electrical work on commercial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Requirements: Valid journeyman or master electrician license, extensive commercial electrical experience, and proven leadership skills.
Residential Electrical Positions (Entry-Level and Residential Wireman):

Entry-Level Electrician (RCW) Position: 

  • Assists with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential properties under supervision.
  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid registered electrical license, and eagerness to learn.

Residential Wireman Electrician Position

  • Independently installs, repairs, and maintains complex electrical systems in residential properties.
  • Requirements: Valid Residential Wireman license, several years of residential electrical experience, and strong problem-solving skills.
HVAC Technicians:

Entry-Level Technician/Installer Position

  • Assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential systems under supervision.
  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, basic technical skills, and eagerness to learn.

Experienced Technician/Installer Position

  • Independently installs, maintains, and repairs complex residential systems, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Requirements: Several years of relevant experience, strong technical skills, and any necessary certifications/licenses.

Plumbing Positions:

Entry-Level Plumbing Position

  • Assists in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential properties under supervision.
  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid plumbing apprentice license, and willingness to learn.

Journeyman/Master Plumber Position

  • Independently installs, repairs, and maintains complex plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties.
  • Requirements: Valid journeyman or master plumber license, several years of residential/commercial plumbing experience, and strong problem-solving skills.
4. Material Handler Positions:

Field Material Handlers:

  • Deliver materials to job sites, assist with inventory management, and support field teams.
  • Load and unload materials, track inventory, and assist with distribution.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and accurately.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy objects, good organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects, basic computer skills, attention to detail.
5. Office Support Roles:

Project Coordinators:

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination between office and field teams.
  • Requirements: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, experience in project management preferred.

Project Managers:

  • Oversees and coordinates electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field or leadership experience in the electrical field, and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Electrical Estimators:

  • Prepares detailed cost estimates for electrical projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field, proficiency in estimation software,

    leadership experience in the electrical field and 3+ years of relevant experience

6. Accounting and Finance:

Accountants/Bookkeepers:

  • Manage financial records, process invoices, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Requirements: Relevant accounting qualifications, proficiency in accounting software, attention to detail.

CFO:

  • Oversees the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to ensure fiscal health and strategic growth.
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (MBA/CPA preferred), 10+ years of senior financial management experience, and strong leadership skills.
