Roman Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Service Manager to lead, manage, and grow our commercial electrical service department.

Key Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Oversee daily commercial electrical service operations, including troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, emergency calls, and small projects.
• Team Management: Lead and support commercial service electricians, coordinate manpower and scheduling, and ensure efficient job execution.
• Business Development: Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and commercial customers to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
• Estimating & Project Management: Prepare estimates and proposals, review project scopes, monitor labor and material costs, and coordinate larger opportunities with company leadership.
• Financial Performance: Manage departmental revenue, job profitability, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Customer Service: Maintain strong customer relationships, resolve service concerns, and ensure projects are completed professionally and on schedule.
• Safety & Quality: Promote a strong safety culture while maintaining high standards for workmanship and employee accountability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial electrical service, construction, or electrical operations.
• Previous leadership experience supervising electricians or managing electrical service operations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation.
• Experience with estimating, scheduling, manpower planning, and job costing.
• Understanding of departmental financial performance, including revenue, labor costs, and profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of commercial electrical industry experience.
• Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Experience managing union electricians and working with IBEW labor agreements.
• Established commercial customer relationships in southeastern Wisconsin.
